This recognition holds a profoundly special meaning for me, as this award comes from Ukraine. Even in the face of incredible challenges, Ukraine’s creative community continues to champion independent cinema and artistic vision globally. As a filmmaker from Taiwan, being able to connect through art and receive this validation across borders is an incredibly moving experience that I will deeply cherish.
